July 4th Sounds Alchemical x The Grief Space
My recommendation is to get comfortable and ask yourself if there is any delight you can provide yourself with (especially sensory, as the senses are often heighted with this modality) - anything that might seem a luxury you may not ordinarily indulge in, an item of clothing/jewellery that means something or feels delicious, essential oils that you can maybe anoint your forehead and pulse points with, a rose that can rest on your nose for you to inhale throughout, a piece of chocolate that can slowly melt in your mouth while you listen.... Equally you can come JUST AS YOU ARE and it will be absolutely special.
Some suggestions:
The best sound setup you can achieve - stereo or good headphones ideal
An eye mask
A bolster for under the knees
Pillow for your head
Cosy layers - you may drop into deep rest and a lower temperature
Some hot tea for when you finish
Pen and paper
It is completely normal to experience total relaxation and to even doze off with a sense of sleeping while not sleeping/a dreamy state. Some people experience getting super heavy and feeling like they wouldn't even be able to move if they tried. There is no "right" or "wrong" way to experience this session.
If you have any questions or experience anything you would like to share I LOVE to hear people's stories, just drop me a line.
Following our session you are very welcome to receive a week free of daily audio meditations with the bowls, just sign up here.
Contraindications/things to note:
Pregnancy
It is believed that there are many positive and beneficial effects to be gained from relaxation and healing sounds to the growing foetus. Crystal Sonic Therapy is not advised during the first or third trimester.
Crystal Sonic Therapy is not suitable for people with Epilepsy, severe or clinical mental health conditions, implants or plates in the body (metal plates, pins, ball joints in particular – this is of less concern when receiving online). The vibrations we experience through sound healing may cause discomfort through the vibration of the sound and the implant or even disrupt its function. It is advisable make an informed decision and seek advice from your GP if you are concerned.
